Do we want to be dodging the darts of the wicked without the armor of God? Ephesians 6:15-17 “And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Attending Bible study is one of the best ways of becoming able to fight off the wicked. Bible study is for our benefit; and worship is to God. Bible study shows us how God wants us to worship. How He wants us to act not only toward Him, and ourselves, but toward others also. In order to dodge those darts we need to be ready to react fast. Have you ever seen an undernourished athlete perform very well? 1 Corinthians 9:24 “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. We need to be able to run the spiritual race and win the spiritual fight.” Attending Bible study is the way we can achieve this.
