Pleasing God

Christians claim the Bible is from God. This belief is not based upon wishful thinking, but reasonable examination of the facts. The Bible backs up those claims with clear, overwhelming evidence. The Bible is accurate, harmonious, and contains information that its human writers could not have known without divine guidance. We have only touched the fringe of evidence that supports the Bible as the word of God. It is just a grain of sand.

The focus of this study is not just about the Bible, but pleasing God. The question is asked, “Do we want to please God?” If we do then “What pleases Him?” The answer to that question lies within the pages of the Bible. The answer to that question is really all that will matter in eternity where we are all heading.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Heb 11:6). So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Rom 10:17). Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14).
