An update to our Guidelines for Coming Together:
The governor’s Executive Order No. 151 extends Phase 2 until August 7th, 2020, and requires face coverings (face masks) to be worn in public. The order also provides several exceptions for the face covering requirement, which include the following:
  • ·any person who has trouble breathing
  • children under eleven (11) years of age
  • any person actively eating or drinking
  • any person giving a speech for a broadcast or to an audience
Considering this new requirement, the elders strongly encourage all members to wear an appropriate face covering when entering, exiting, and assembling for worship or Bible study at the building. We are working to have a limited number of face masks on hand for those who do not already have one. We will continue to stream our assemblies in the members’ Facebook group and encourage you to participate in our worship and study virtually if you would prefer.
We are thankful for the freedoms that we enjoy, we are cautious and concerned about the health and welfare of others, and we want to do everything we can to comply with this new requirement.
Paul wrote, “Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.” – Romans 13:1-2
Please continue to pray for our nation and our leaders. As always, if there are any physical or spiritual needs, please let one of the elders, deacons, or Matt Langfield know so  that we can work to address those as quickly as possible.
