God Cares About You

It is remarkable to think that God, who created the universe, who spoke our world into existence, who is all-powerful and omnipresent, also knows and cares about you and me. The
Bible makes it clear that “God is love” (1 John 4:7-8), and that He loves the world (John 3:6), but also that He loves and cares for us as individuals. I

In praise of God, David wrote, “For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb.” Even before birth, God knew David inside and out and took a specific interest in David’s physical life.

Jeremiah the prophet, was told by the Lord, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you” (Jeremiah 1:5). Jeremiah is reminded and comforted by God’s power, knowledge, and care.

Jesus taught His disciples, “The very hairs of your head are all numbered,” meaning again that God knows everything about us and cares about every detail. (Matthew 10:30).

It is easy to think of God as the all-powerful heavenly being. He is the Eternal Creator who reigns from His throne, but He is also the God who knows us inside and out, formed each of us, and knows every detail about our lives. God cares about you.
