When we attend a bible study it will bring us closer to God. If we put our whole mind into what is being said and take it and do something with it. Make every effort to glean something out of each message from God’s word, it will help us to draw closer to Him. It may be something as simple as “do good to others” or something as complex as marriage and our relationship with our spouse. God’s word always gives us building blocks to help us build our house on the rock. When we attend bible study it will increase our faith. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). When we gain wisdom it helps us to draw closer to God. And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:15). The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple (Psalms 119:130).
