There are dark seasons in life. We can’t predict the time of the coming gloom. We usually can’t foresee how long the tempest will last. We often don’t know what damage will be wrought by the ravaging storms of life.
But there are three things we can know. One, the storm will end. Two, the Lord knows when we are surrounded by darkness and suffering through trials. Three, He will save us. If not in this life, in the next.
In the meantime, stand fast in the storm. Continue to live life well (Colossians 3:17). Continue to be grateful (Ephesians 5:20). Continue to pray (1 Thessalonians 5:17). And continue to praise God (Psalm 150:6).
