Time Change

When I was younger, there were two times I would forget about, but they would happen just like clockwork. One of them I was excited for, and the other I dreaded. Of course, I’m referring to Daylight Saving Time. Even now as an adult, I don’t think about it for the entire year until a week or two before the event. Then, I remember that in a little while, there will be a time to set our clocks back an hour and then forward an hour.

There will come a time when we will no longer be burdened by the constraints of time. No longer being concerned with waking up at a specific hour, time to be at work, etc. Instead, we will simply be. The question that we must think is: where will we be? Will we be basking in the glory of God and experiencing Paradise, or will we be in torment, thinking of those opportunities we missed to live our lives right? We just adjusted the time on our clocks this week, but is it time that we adjusted ourselves for the time when He returns? Let us strive not to be caught off guard or asleep but instead prepared for the coming of Christ.
